Description
The Defelsko PosiTest® PG Paint Inspection Gage accurately measures the thickness of one or multiple coating layers on any substrate using a proven destructive testing method. This instrument provides precise layer analysis for quality control, research, and coating verification applications.
Built with a durable anodized aluminum housing, the PosiTest PG includes a rotating cutting tip holder that accommodates up to four tips, allowing flexibility for different coating thickness ranges. The integrated 50x microscope with precision optics and a rotating scale (Imperial and Metric units) ensures detailed, reliable measurement results.
A Certificate of Calibration (NIST traceable) is included, confirming accuracy and compliance with major international standards: ISO 2808/19399, ASTM D4138, JIS K 5600-1-7, and NF T30-123.
