The PosiTector® CMM IS In Situ Concrete Moisture (RH) Meter is a professional-grade system designed to accurately measure and report relative humidity (RH) and temperature within concrete floor slabs in full compliance with ASTM F2170. Engineered for flooring contractors, inspectors, building professionals, and QA/QC experts, it delivers precise moisture data essential for validating concrete slab readiness before installing flooring systems, coatings, or protective layers.
This advanced system features fully reusable Smart Probes that broadcast readings wirelessly through Bluetooth, allowing users to easily collect and record data using the free PosiTector CMM IS mobile app (Apple & Android) or a PosiTector DPM Advanced gauge. The probes remain powered on for up to three weeks, continuously transmitting while in situ—eliminating the need to open test holes, remove caps, or disturb the installation.
Designed for efficiency, the patented combined sleeve-and-probe design eliminates consumables and simplifies the entire ASTM F2170 installation process. Each probe offers rapid response, highly stable sensors, and repeatable readings, ensuring accurate moisture measurements throughout the testing period. For optimized acclimation and storage, every probe includes a Calibration Check Chamber and Saturated Salt Solution, ensuring maximum reliability in all field conditions.
All probes come with a long-form Certificate of Calibration, traceable to NIST, supporting high-accuracy reporting for compliance, audits, and job documentation.
Customers can choose from three expandable kits—Basic, Complete, and Pro—with multiple probe quantities, accessories, vacuum attachments, carrying cases, and a PosiTector DPM3 Advanced instrument in the Pro Kit. Expansion Packs (1-pack, 4-pack, 16-pack) allow easy scalability for larger projects requiring additional in-situ probes.
